World Align 2
World Align provides consistent texture adjustments directly from world coordinates. In many cases, UVs become distorted due to varying rotations and positions, often requiring tedious manual tweaking. With World Align, you simply select the object—or just the desired faces—and press a button. The tool handles the correction instantly.
If you want an even more streamlined workflow, consider the UV Aligner addon, which includes World Align among its features. UV Aligner offers precise UV manipulation tools that greatly enhance efficiency for both hard-surface and organic models. You can find it here: https://inletzone.com/mallet-uv-aligner
While Cube Project is theoretically meant to be the go-to solution, it’s unreliable in practice. It struggles with angled surfaces and tends to create issues when used on individual faces—problems that World Align handles effortlessly.

Actions
Unwrap
In Object Mode, unwrap all selected objects to be aligned to the world. In Edit Mode, unwraps selected faces only
Settings
Live Update
When enabled, the selected objects/faces are unwrapped as settings are changed. This is the same as running “Unwrap” every time you make a change to the settings.
Tile Size
The size of one UV in world space
Use Texel Density
With this enabled, a face’s UV will be scaled based on the resolution of the texture’s ‘image’, causing all pixels to be an identical size. An image 500x500 pixels will unwrap at twice the size of an image of 250x250 pixels.
With Texel Density
Pixels per Meter
How many pixels to place per meter. When unwrapping, rather than scaling the face based on the UV’s world position, it’s based on the pixels of the texture. 500 pixels per meter will mean a face with a material with a texture that’s 1000x1000 pixels will unwrap with each ‘tile’ of that material being 2 meters in size.
